Montinola Trivia
The Montinolas were known to have left the port of Málaga, Spain to their destination, the Philippines, known then as Las Islas Filipinas.  The earliest recorded date is as old as 1781. Now the clan has reached 9 generations since their arrival.

Looking at baptismal records in Jaro church records.  The original Montinola was Capitán Don Juan Montinola. The records mentions him as captain of several soldiers who had their children baptized in Jaro. The earliest date was in 1781. To most of us, he is our link to our ancestry in Europe.
